We are following the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination and the CDC's recommendation for the role of shared clinical decision making. More details about these recommendations are available in the documents below. We will have COVID-19 vaccines available for our patients 6 months-11 years at designated appointments. We will be administering the Moderna SPIKEVAX vaccine as approved by the FDA. For our older patients, we recommend they schedule a vaccine appointment at their local pharmacy. If you have any questions about your child and COVID-19 vaccination, please send your child's provider a message through our patient portal.

Pediatric Partners’ Towson practice traces its roots back to the first Board-certified Baltimore County one pediatric practice in Baltimore County, which was started by Dr. Clewell Howell in 1928. The practice thrived in an old house at the corner of Washington and Allegheny Avenues until 1988. Through several moves to larger offices, and the addition of new, Board-certified pediatricians to the practice, much has changed in the over 80 years that our physicians have been taking care of Baltimore’s children. Two things that have not changed are the level of personal attention we give to our patients and the high quality of care we offer from our physicians and professional staff.
We have been recognized by the Towson Times, Towson Magazine and Baltimore Magazine as among the best physicians and pediatric offices in the region. We have five pediatricians, and a full professional staff, who work at our Towson office at 8600 LaSalle Road. With this kind of team, we are able to provide longer office hours, including evening and weekend hours, and 24-hour on-call availability. But, while the size of our practice helps us provide a broader range of service and convenient access, we work with each family to ensure that the children regularly see, and get to know and trust, their own individual pediatrician. We are currently accepting new patients, from newborn infants through adolescents. We would welcome the opportunity to meet you for a pre-natal or introductory visit.

There is always a doctor or nurse practioner from this office on call when our office is closed. If you need to speak with the on call doctor, please call the office and listen to the entire message. You will then obtain the phone number for the on call doctor. (This message changes daily.) There is a $15.00 charge for after hour calls.
