Jordin earned her Bachelor's Degree from The University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2014.  She worked as a registered nurse in both the Pediatric intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergency Department at The University of Maryland Medical Center before returning to UMD to earn a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2021.

Jordin lives in Harford County with her husband and three children.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and weekend trips to the lake.
