Emily earned her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and began her career as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She also served as a school nurse for Harford County Public Schools. In May 2024, she graduated with a master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing from Old Dominion University and is now a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care.

Emily was born and raised in Bel Air, where she still resides with her husband and two dogs. As devoted Ravens fans, Emily and her husband never miss a home game. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and staying active through exercise.
