Pediatric Partners has been making all the needed preparations for the COVID19 vaccinations. We are registered with the State Health Department and ready to administer when available! However, we anticipate that it might be several months before the vaccine is available for pediatric offices. Currently the Pfizer vaccine is approved for ages 16 and up. The Moderna vaccine is approved for ages 18 and up. If you are interested in receiving updates from our offices about COVID19 or the vaccine, you can call our office to register for our email list.
WE ARE NOW ABLE TO SWAB FOR COVID!! THIS IS NOT THE RAPID TEST. A TELEMED VISIT MUST BE DONE FIRST. IF THE DOCTOR WANTS TO TEST FOR COVID, A SAME DAY APPOINTMENT WITH A MEDICAL ASSISTANT WILL BE SCHEDULED. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE.
*Please Note: We are now doing telemedicine visits for most illnesses, including the Coronavirus, as well as medication follow ups.
*We are accepting New Patients up to age 22. We accept a broad range of insurances, including Medicaid.
We are changing a few things to ensure that the patients, staff and providers stay safe and healthy. All well visits are being scheduled in the morning only, sick visits will be scheduled for the afternoon and evening, and telemedicine visits can be scheduled throughout the day. Our goal is to keep our waiting room empty during sick time, therefore, you may be asked to wait in your car until we have an available room. All calls concerning signs, symptoms and treatment of COVID19 will be handled by a telemedicine appointment with one of our providers. If your child is scheduled for a well visit and is now sick, please call the office before coming for the appointment. Please limit the amount of people accompanying your child to the office.
We truly appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work diligently to provide the safest environment for your family and our staff.
NOTICE UPDATE : AUGUST 2020
When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office before you come in.
We are asking that 1 parent/guardian per child enters the office. Additional adults and children will be asked to wait in the car.

Siblings may accompany if no other child care is available. Everyone that enters will have their temperature taken.
Everyone age 2 and up that enters must be wearing a mask.
The mask must cover the nose and mouth.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation!!!
Pediatric Partners strongly supports the American Academy of Pediatrics' schedule recommendations for routine childhood immunizations.
This practice does not accept or advocate for parents that refuse to immunize their children.
Pediatric Partners’ Towson practice traces its roots back to the first Board-certified pediatric practice in Baltimore County, which was started by Dr. Clewell Howell in 1928. The practice thrived in an old house at the corner of Washington and Allegheny Avenues until 1988. Through several moves to larger offices, and the addition of new, Board-certified pediatricians to the practice, much has changed in the over 80 years that our physicians have been taking care of Baltimore’s children. Two things that have not changed are the level of personal attention we give to our patients and the high quality of care we offer from our physicians and professional staff.

We encourage the following schedule of visits; (the ages mentioned are approximate):

- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months

- Yearly visits ages 2-6 years
- After age 6, yearly or alternate years.
During some of these visits, immunizations will be given and routine laboratory tests may be done.
Vision and hearing tests are also given regularly. We encourage advance scheduling of well childcare. For infants, please schedule your next check up at the end of your visit. Otherwise, we suggest you call 6-8 weeks ahead of the time you wish to be seen.
You never know when your child may become sick. Because of this we schedule same day sick appointments. Just call the office and we will arrange for your child to be seen that day.
There is always a doctor or nurse practioner from this office on call when our office is closed. If you need to speak with the on call doctor, please call the office and listen to the entire message. You will then obtain the phone number or pager number for the on call doctor. This message changes daily. There is a $15.00 charge for after hour calls.
Our pediatricians continue to offer teen health care for adolescents through college.
